On the mic, Ryan’s passion is to make aviation relatable by simultaneously educating the audience while inserting his signature humor and enthusiasm.

To say he get’s excited about airplanes is an understatement.

Ryan has been the lead announcer/anchor for NationalSTOL since 2021 - an adventure that’s taken him all over the United States and his voice to a global audience watching in the millions.

In recent years, you’ve also likely seen Ryan announcing the STOL Demo and hosting “Plane Talk” sessions at EAA’s AirVenture as well as on-camera with LiveAirshowTV and in the announcer’s stand at the Moses Lake Airshow.

A true avgeek at heart, Ryan is a Tailwheel Endorsed Private Pilot whose goal is to inspire the next generation of aviators.  On his off days, you can spot him above the Wisconsin corn in a J-3 Cub or his Cessna 172 with his wife and two daughters in the passenger seats.
